Ani Ramen has added a seventh location in New Jersey, with her latest business in New Brunswick. Homesickness, Asbury Park
At Homesick, everything is done from scratch. Options like mascarpone cakes and flatiron steak are paired with craft cocktails that include combinations like vodka, ginger, and lemongrass. Homesick is the newest addition to the Smith hotel group, which owns restaurants including Porta and Pascal & Sabine. Open Sunday, Monday and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Ani Ramen, New Brunswick
Ani Ramen, pictured above, has seven locations across New Jersey, and New Brunswick is her new place. This place has a liquor license and offers dozens of whiskeys, sakes and other spirits. Ani Ramen opened at Montclair 2014, and its second location, in Jersey City, followed in 2017. In addition to serving ramen, the restaurant offers dishes such as karaage chicken and pork buns. Open from 4 p.m. to midnight.

What started out as a pop-up at a Jersey City farmers market, Vegbar is now a juice bar and fresh food in downtown Newark that offers a fresh, organic menu to its patrons. Gus’ last word, Wood-Ridge
Skopos Hospitality’s latest restaurant pays homage to the 1950s bar scene. The family-run restaurant was inspired by Gus himself, the grandfather of Skopos owners Thomas and Dean Maroulakos. Make sure to try their Last Word, a cocktail known to be Gus’ favorite. Official opening on July 7.
