Strange Matter Coffee Co. will expand both location and offerings this year.
Strange Matter Coffee Co. locations in downtown Lansing to reopen
Strange matter made its first of two announcements on Sunday, January 2. This announcement was for their current location in downtown Lansing (the second of two locations … for now). They’re expanding the store into two adjacent vacant storefronts and they’re going to be offering more on the menu as well. Think about breakfast, lunch, small plates and (alcoholic) drinks.
This is big news for the location of the city center, which has been closed since March 2020.
The second announcement was made (today) on Monday January 3. Remember earlier that I alluded to Strange Matter having only two slots … so far? Well that’s because they’re going to open a third location in Lansing Old Town! This place will be inside the old temple building in the old city. This location will also serve food and alcoholic beverages in addition to its beloved coffee and bakery offerings.
Strange Matter is hoping the third location opens later this summer, but that will depend on how the rest of the build unfolds.
