David Walliams’ quick split with wife, ‘unreasonable behavior’ and new man
David Walliams is one of Britain’s Got Talent’s most popular judges and has a net worth of around £17million.
The handsome comedian has been a beloved member of the UK entertainment industry for years and is more than comfortable in the spotlight.

As well as being a popular judge on the ITV talent show Britain’s Got Talent, Walliams is also a talented author of children’s books, reports the Daily Record.
In his role on BGT, alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon, Walliams is considered one of the most generous and often joins artists on stage.
But before joining the iconic show, he was once part of one of showbiz’s strongest couples – and we’re not talking about Little Britain co-host Matt Lucas.
David’s marriage to model Lara Stone was highly publicized before their shocking split in 2015, mirror reports. The couple, who share son Alfred together, went through a messy divorce after the comedian claimed his partner cited “unreasonable behavior”.
The couple started dating in 2009 after meeting at a football match at Chelsea.
Lara admitted she was “really nervous” on their first date, but soon learned they shared a “very wicked sense of humour”.
Speaking to Dutch Vogue, she said: “I was in the taxi to get home afterwards and thought I should text him and thank him for dinner. When I did, he replied: “Who is it? “”
The couple announced their engagement in January 2010 and got down to a lavish ceremony in London at Claridge’s Hotel with celebrity guests including Sir Elton John, Russell Brand and Stephen Fry.
Just four months later, the couple tied the knot in front of family and friends at Claridge’s Hotel in London in a lavish £80,000 ceremony.
Over the years, Lara has worked with some of the biggest names in fashion and even posed with Justin Bieber for a campaign for Calvin Klein.
The blonde beauty has appeared on magazine covers for British, French and Italian Vogue. She has also starred in campaigns for Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Versace and Prada.
Despite her prestigious and glamorous career, her divorce from David was quite the opposite.
David was reportedly “devastated” over the split, which came less than two years after Lara gave birth to their son.
In 2015, Lara agreed to take responsibility for the divorce proceedings to end their five-year marriage, with the BGT star citing her “unreasonable behavior” as grounds for divorce.
However, according to insiders, it was the model who wanted to legally separate.
“David didn’t want a divorce and was desperate to work things out,” a source told The Sun at the time.
“But Lara insisted and David accepted for Alfred’s sake.”
“It was easier for David to divorce Lara and claim it was her unreasonable behavior,” the source continued.
“She was ready to accept that as a reason.”
Lara has since admitted that she found the fame that came with David difficult.
She explained, “I was at his house and coming back to the subway and this car was driving by me and they were taking pictures all the time. It was so disconcerting and terrifying.”
The couple have since separated and Lara married a new man she met two years after her split from her ex-husband.
In July last year, Lara tied the knot with David Grievson after the pair found love on dating app Tinder in 2018.
Lara confirmed she and her husband were engaged in February 2020 after two years of dating, with Lara showing off her diamond ring during a VIP dinner in Mayfair.
In a series of sweet snaps on Instagram, the Dutch model announced that she married her fiancé in a private ceremony.
At the time, she captioned a series of black and white photos as the newlyweds smiled as they walked out of church.
She wrote: “I have to marry my love this weekend!”
Since their split in 2015, David has been romantically involved with a string of younger women, including Made In Chelsea star Ashley James, Hollywood actress Kate Beckinsale, Playboy model Emily Agnes and Miss Norway contestant Sylvia Flote .
Following his ex-wife’s new marriage and David’s long string of relationships, the comedian is hoping to calm down after learning he’s been looking for love.
David reportedly joined the celebrity dating app, Raya, hoping to strike up a romantic relationship.
The judge supposedly uses photos of him with his two border terriers Bert and Ernie on his profile.
In a photo shared by The sunDavid is seen cuddling one of his dogs while another showed off the dapper-looking star in a black suit with a polka dot clutch.
“Obviously David recognizes that there is a certain appeal to his adorable pets and has put them front and center in many photos.
“In some of them you can barely see it.”
