Airelles Saint-Tropez, Château de la Messardière, a 19th century palace at the gates of Saint-Tropez, will open its doors for the first time under the luxury brand Airelles on July 1, 2021.

Acquired in May 2019, the property joined Airelles’ hotel collection and has undergone extensive renovations over the past two years, with French architect and decorator Christopher Tollemer overseeing the redesign. The property is the largest hotel in Saint-Tropez, occupying 25 hectares of magnificent land overlooking the French Riviera and the Provençal countryside.

This summer, guests can look forward to many initiatives, including a culinary partnership with Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, as well as “air, land and sea†experiences for adults and families (think: exclusive day trips by helicopter , perfume-making workshops, vineyard sidecar, guided tours and hot-air balloon flights).

Summer partnership with chef Nobu Matsuhisa

From July 1 to October 10, Château de la Messardière joins forces with chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Matsuhisa Saint-Tropez Restaurant will offer guests Japanese / French fusion cuisine, with an emphasis on fresh seafood. The menu will include a selection of popular Matsuhisa dishes, including yellow tail sashimi with jalapeño and yuzu soy sauce, black cod with saikyo-yaki miso, and prawn tempura. You will also discover a selection of sakes, as well as an organized cocktail list.

The main draw of the restaurant will be its outdoor terrace, offering a view over the bay of Pampelonne, where guests can enjoy impressive sunsets and dine under the stars.

In addition to the new Matsuhisa Saint-Tropez restaurant, Château de la Messardière has completely redesigned its culinary offer with both local and international concepts; this includes the arrival of L’Auberge des Maures, one of the most emblematic restaurants in Saint-Tropez, which will offer authentic Provencal cuisine with traditional specialties.
